CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF PRAIRIE WRESTLING

PREPARING TO PARTICIPATE ALL ATHLETES MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF INSURANCE, A CURRENT PHYSICAL AND A SIGNED ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORM. FUNDRAISERS The wrestling program conducts three primary fundraisers during the season; PIN-A-THON, Hammerin' Hawks Tournament and the District AAU Tournament. All wrestlers are expected and parents are encouraged to participate in conducting these fundraisers. A STEP ABOVE Wrestling Room Renovation An improvement to the wrestling practice room will make the athletes experience much safer. An elevated, safety floor was installed July 12 & 13, 2008. The floor provides a more absorbent surface to prevent injuries resulting from impacting a stationary floor. The project was made possible through the support and efforts of the Prairie Booster Club, Prairie administration, Ed Johnson Construction, several local vendors and many members of the wrestling family that planned, prepared and produced the labor needed for the installation. This project is symbolic of the strength of the wrestling family. Parents and athletes of the past, present and future stepped up and volunteered to make this happen. WE ARE PRAIRIE WRESTLING! WRESTLING EMAIL GROUP All wrestling parents are encouraged to provide their email addresses to Coach Williams so that they may be added to the wrestling group emails.
