Starting the week of Sept. 14, the JV boys currently have a record of 6-9, while the freshman sit at 3-7. On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the JV hosts a meet at Airport National. On Wednesday, Sept. 16, the Freshman travel to Twin Pines for a meet.
On Thursday, Sept. 10, the varsity boys won a quadrangular golf meet at Gates Park in Waterloo. The boys shot 164 and defeated Dubuque Senior, Cedar Rapids Washington, and Waterloo East. Parker Linn led the way firing a 3 over par 39. Colyn Snyder posted a solid 40, while Taylor Steffens contributed a 42 and Ian Tucker a 43. Earlier in the week, the boys placed 6th out of 8 teams in the always competitive CRANDIC golf tournament at Twin Pines.
The JV team finished 3rd out of 6 teams in their first meet of the year at Jones Park. Scores were:
